9 of the final 13 Gates are centred on islands. Among these, Iceland is the most populated. With the greater radii of this cycle, the entire island of Iceland is contained within the 222 mile goal of the first 5 year phase. Reykjavik is near geometric centre for this 40th Gate of the New Jerusalem. The ancient site of Thingvellir, on the northern shore of Lake Thingvallavatn, is the exact sacred centre. The world’s first parliament met here in 930 AD. The Creative Component of Reykjavik is centred at Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Nuuk forms a Bonded Partnership with the Spitsbergen Structural Component - Independence Fjord in the far north of Greenland.
The Icelandic Structural Component is located at Callanish Stone Circle - the Merlin link - in the Hebrides on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. This is another example of a Structural or Creative Component of one Gate which is located within the circle of another Inspirational Gate. Callanish is just within the orb of the Glaston-Shaston planetary Heart Chakra. As the Structural Component of Iceland, Callanish forms a Bonded Partnership into with the High Tatra Creative Component - Mount Olympus in Greece.
There are clear ancient connections existing between Callanish and Greece which show that this bond was known about long ago. The ancient Magus Abaris first gained his physical immortality here at Callanish and learned to fly through the air (teleport) to visit sages in Greece, including Pythagoras. Once every 19 years, on the Great Wesak Month, he would return to his home initiatory base at Callanish. As a High Priest of Apollo, the sun behind the sun, Abaris can still be communed with at the instant of the summer solstice which occurs immediately after a Great Wesak month. 1989, 2008, 2027, 2046, and 2065 are such auspicious years for the Abaris initiation at Callanish on the summer solstice.
